Andrew Osta

Andrew Osta is a visionary artist and a person who has been researching and studying spirituality and healing for many years. He has worked with several Shamans in the Peruvian Amazon, and with many spiritual teachers. He has extensive knowledge in these areas, at the same time realizing that there is always so much more to learn.

Andrew is currently learning the ancient science of healing in Peru. In 2009, he is invited to present his art and give a talk at the 5th International Shamanism Conference, in Iquitos, Peru, where he will be sharing the stage with such greats as Pablo Amaringo, Dennis McKenna, and many others. Before arriving in Peru, he went through periods of intense practice and involvement with Magick, Buddhism, Hinduism, Zen Buddhism, and plant shamanism, comparing these traditions and extracting the wisdom from each one, seeing how they can complement each other. He graduated in Philosophy and Computer Science from the University of Toronto, specializing in philosophy of the mind and philosophy of religion.

He is also a very creative person, who paints, writes, and writes music. In Canada, he works as an Art Healing Counsellor, providing a form of art therapy to refugees and newcomers to Canada. He also assists people in connecting with Peruvian healers and provides guidance to all those who ask.
